The Clinic: What's Next for Mlali

For years, Italian doctors have come to Mlali to provide dental and medical care the Centre couldn't offer on its own. To keep that going, Mlali built a clinic to care for the children, and for the families in the villages around them.

The building's done, and it already runs as a dental clinic and a pharmacy—but there's room for much more: general care, and a maternity ward.

Unsafe childbirth is one of the biggest dangers these villages face, and a working maternity room could fix that. Right now the clinic has the space but not the equipment.

It's our biggest undertaking yet, and we're still working out what it'll take to open the doors. Subscribe below, and when there's a way to help, we’ll let you know.
